Wilderness Trail Single Barrel Rye
Wilderness Trail Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is offered as a Cask Strength release. The whiskey has a mash bill of 56 percent rye, 33 percent corn and 11 percent malted barley created for a broader balance of flavour to offset the typical high ryes commonly found. The whiskey enters air-dried #4 char barrels at 100 proof and 105 proof, the lowest entry proof we know of in Kentucky. The Rye Whiskeys are aged on the upper floors of Wilderness Trails rickhouses for a minimum of 4 years
